“Savannakheth Provincial Department of Information, Culture and Tourism (DICT) received financial support from the French Agency for Development (AFD) to implement a project on protection, conservation of cultural heritage and attractiveness in Savannakheth Province. One of the main problems that make the implementation of the project difficult is foreign languages. The members of the project coordination committee as well as the technical staffs involved in the implementation of the project are still unable to communicate with the foreign experts of the project in English. Therefore, the program has an English training plan for 25 employees of the Provincial DICT. And the program has chosen the ARDA English Centre to help teach and provide English skills for our employees. 

ARDA English Centre is an educational institution that specializes in teaching English to Lao people at various levels and ages and has experience in teaching English to public and private employees for more than 30 years. 

The DICT staffs have started learning English at the ARDA Center since August 2022. Through the study for a short period of time and based on the results of the periodic tests, it is seen that the staff are active in the study, have good development and are ready to continue studying. This is due to the attention of the professors of the ARDA center and the monitoring of the teaching and learning of the committee in charge of the center itself.

I, as the project coordinator, see that ARDA English Centre is one of the quality English teaching centers in Laos as a whole, specifically in Savannakheth province. And we hope that the intervention of the ARDA English training center in English training will help the staffs of the DICT in Savannakheth province to communicate with the English-speaking foreigners soon and be one of the successes of the implementation of our project activities.
